First off, I’d like to thank @amanda for really charging my nerves tonight to really kick-start the Twestival 2010 for the Quezon City (Philippines) area. However pleasant all this started, there are setbacks. One of which is a prolonged lack of sleep on my part (I’ll do this in a jiffy) and the urgent need to learn how to navigate through Wordpress (Actually, we also use WP at work, but it feels like I’m touching on this one for the first time. I feel a little lost). Anyway, I’ve done what I feel I should finish doing for the site and for those who wish to participate for Twestival next year. A big “Hooh-Hah!” for that, I guess. Don’t worry; it would be my first time, too, so yeah, I can say I’m also having cold feet.

Right now, I can tell you nothing has been set on stone yet, from Twestival plans to who our city moderator would be. I’m standing as a temp mod for now, and looking for someone more capable in this job is my top priority. At least, I should accomplish this before Twestival 2010 officially kicks-off in January. Please check out @silvakreuz and/or @twestivalqc for updates.

First timers and visitors, please feel free to leave a little shout-out to the community. By the way, if you have read the Twestival announcement regarding next year’s global recipient, you may share your thoughts about that as well. If you want to be a Twestival volunteer or a (why not?) moderator for the city, please DM me and I’ll be more that glad to introduce you to Amanda. *wink*
